BLESSTHEFALL Announces Headlining Position on the Annual FEARLESS FRIENDS TOUR
Today, Alternative Press Magazine’s Altpress.com has exclusively announced that blessthefall will be headlining the annual Fearless Friends Tour, heading out across North America this November / December. The full line-up and routing will be revealed on September 7th, 2011.
“We are honored to be chosen as headliners of the Fearless Friends Tour 2011,” notes blessthefall singer Beau Bokan. “All the other bands on the tour are awesome and fans are going to be in for a treat. We’re also super excited to play you all songs off of our new album Awakening. We'll see you in the fall... let's party (clothing optional)!”
blessthefall's third album, Awakening, is set for release on October 4th, 2011. The band, which also includes lead guitarist Eric Lambert, drummer Matt Traynor, bassist/screamer Jared Warth and new rhythm guitarist Elliott Gruenberg (formerly with Before Their Eyes), formed in Phoenix, AZ in 2003. With the envious combination of finely-honed musicianship and an electrifying live show, blessthefall has been rapidly gaining fans across the globe. Their album Witness debuted at #56 on the Billboard Top 200, going on to sell over 75,000 copies in the U.S. alone. Having played 126 dates in 16 countries in support of Witness in 2010, the quintet adds their headline U.S. and European dates to a tour resume that already includes runs with As I Lay Dying, Avenged Sevenfold, Bullet For My Valentine, August Burns Red, Atreyu, and Underoath.
