NEW YORK, NY – August 29, 2011 – Eastern Conference Champions will debut the video for “Bull In The Wild” (Directed by James Weir) on mxdwn.com beginning tomorrow morning on Tuesday August 30th. All fans who visit the site can also download a free MP3 remix of the track.
Eastern Conference Champions have also recently added three west coast shows (LA, San Diego and Long Beach) prior to leaving for a European tour where they will share the stage with The Get Up Kids for seven shows. A full list of the band’s upcoming dates can be found below.
“We are pretty excited to join forces with The Get Up Kids,” commented lead singer Josh Ostrander. “Crisscrossing through Germany with such a highly respected band should prove eye opening. Octoberfest will never be the same.”
Their latest album: Speak-ahh (RockHampton Records) has received excellent reviews with the album also debuting at #1 on the SubModern Albums Chart. Recorded in downtown Los Angeles, Speak-ahh is a departure from the sound of their debut album. The trio, which consists of Josh Ostrander, Greg Lyons and Melissa Dougherty are excited about the direction of their new album.
Eastern Conference Champions made waves last year when they were tapped to contribute an exclusive song “for the third installment of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. The unsigned act was chosen from more than 400 bands competing for the coveted soundtrack slot, and the resulting song, "A Million Miles An Hour," received rave reviews and raised the band’s profile considerably.
