Rectified Spirit from India is doing something quite daring - it's merging various styles and calling it "Libero Metal" which defies classification. It has elements of Thrash, Power, Death, even modern metal and the music effortlessly oscillates from something powerful to something that's clean and soul-touching. This band needs to be heard. It was even nominated for not one but three awards by Rolling Stone here.
What's also remarkable is the highlighting of the great "Iron Lady" who, like Mahatma Gandhi, has been on perennial fast until justice is given against draconian laws giving the armed forces right to kill anyone based on mere suspicion.
