Elm City Music recording artists, miggs hit the road on March 25, 2014 on a combined bill with Man on Earth and Open Air Stereo. miggs new album is scheduled to be released later this year, but a hint of what the new record is all about will be available via a free download of the focus track: “The Drifter” at http://www.miggsmusic.com The song is an up tempo tune with emotionally resonant lyrics written from the standpoint of a military veteran.
The band is widely known for their critically acclaimed release, 15TH AND HOPE which was produced by the late, great producer Phil Ramone. The new collection picks up where 15TH AND HOPE left off with a seasoned band, inspired songwriting and infectious melodies. The band, Don Miggs (lead vocals/guitar), Michael Lombardo (bass), Walker Adams (drums) and John Luzzi (guitar), are starting 2014 with renewed energy and a live show sure to leave fans breathless and wanting more.
miggs is the dreamchild of lead singer/guitar player, Don Miggs and through tenacity, talent and a great band, miggs has marked their territory in the musicial lexicon with radio success with their song, “Girls and Boys,” touring with Maroon 5, Ed Kowalczyk from LIVE, Plain White T’s and others. They have worked with legendary producer Phil Ramone, dug their nails into pop culture by shooting a video with the notorious, Lindsay Lohan – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CCxM6IGCIuQ with over 1 million views on YouTube. They have had their songs featured everywhere from A&E’s documentary “Kurt Cobain”, and “The O.C.” to “Gene Simmons Family Jewels”.
