“The five tracks on the Oceanside EP are all great…‘Deep Set Eyes’ is a really uplifting number…”—Altsounds

The Huffington Post is premiering “Deep Set Eyes,” the new video from Reputante (http://huff.to/18m34hd). The track is featured in the current edition of KEXP's "Music That Matters" and is getting spins at Sirius XMU and KCRW. Of the video, lead singer James Levy says, “Jimmy Giannopoulos had the idea for us to make a video in Bushwick involving some sort of dice game. We pooled our money, but Jimmy’s twenty dollar bill blew away in the wind leaving us mostly with singles. Jon Hoeg filmed it in one take. It was very cold out that day, so it took about four minutes to shoot.”
“Deep Set Eyes” is the first single from the band’s Oceanside EP, out now on Julian Casablancas’ Cult Records (http://bit.ly/ReputanteOutNow). To celebrate the release, the band recently played shows in New York and London.
Produced by Ash’s Tim Wheeler, the EP is the band’s debut release. The third track “Safe n’ Sound” is streaming via YouTube (http://bit.ly/RepSafenSound).
Levy, Giannopoulos, Raviv Ullman and Emiliano Ortiz are Reputante. When Zoe Kravitz joins, they becomeLolawolf. The band has toured with Ash, The Maccabees and Cult Records labelmate Har Mar Superstar.
Cult Records is helmed by Julian Casablancas. In addition to Reputante, the Cult Records roster includes Albert Hammond, Jr., Har Mar Superstar, Cerebral Ballzy, Exclamation Pony, Rey Pila and more.
