Five Brooklyn-based producers, Eric MendelsonTyler DonderoMike IannattoIllumntr, and the always groovadelic Gramatik, have joined forces to drop their first album on Gramatik's Lowtemp label. "Proportions" contains all the right elements of funk, soul, blues, R&B, and electronica to display a post neo-soul type of vibe, which was inspired by artists such as Erykah BaduDeAngelo, and Robert Glasper. This evergrowing contingent of artists is not just another "EDM" group, but a production collective who explore new means of pushing the limits by combining live instruments and vocalists with their very own synthesized beats. Stream the entire Exmag album and check out the track list HERE - a free download will be available very soon.

Fans looking to experience something new and fresh to ring in the New Year can catch a glimpse of Exmag's livetronica performance, as the band celebrates their album release by joining Gramatik's two-night New Year's Eve run in the jewel of the Midwest. In addition to the Exmag crew, Gramatik will also bring out an exciting set of supporting acts for each night in Chicago.

Monday December 30th is Lowtemp's first official showcase, and rest assured this night will be one for the record books. The Concord Music Hall will also feature label newcomer BRANX, live vocals by Gibbz and Exmag's Illumntr along with Russ Liquid, while night two will see trap/electro producer HeRobust and Chicago's own Manic Focus at the Auditorium Theatre.

As we anxiously await for Gramatik's highly anticipated Age Of Reason album to drop, he will embark on yet another journey in the New Year, this time through Canada and the Northeast, culminating with two shows in New York at Output on January 21st and the Best Buy Theater on January 25th. See all of his upcoming tour dates HERE.
