"The upbeat vibe filled with just enough bass is
the perfect track to listen to at all times of the day. Having a live
drummer and keyboardist just adds a different warmth to the track."
- This Song Is Sick
"The melody is a key element that we like to
infuse into our brand of electronic music. After hearing this song by
Florence + the Machine, we felt the vocal line evokes an emotion which
soars above the hard dance floor drums and future synths we eventually
combined with it. We added a touch of the Pharcyde to give the listener
another perspective on the tune and create a mashup of two very different
yet familiar pieces of music. Hope y'all dig it!"
- Break Science
PLM artist Break Science is
offering up a brand new track, exclusively premiered on This Song
Is Sick, entitled "Cosmic Love (Break Science
Remix)." The tune features vocals fromFlorence + The Machine's
"Cosmic Love" and sampled beats from The
Pharcyde's "Passin' Me By." When Break Science add
their special brand of electronic flavor to the pot, this track is poised
to take over the blogosphere and airwaves alike.
Break Science recently released their EP Monolith
Code on PLM, and you can download the entire
release for free HERE. As seasoned producers and touring veterans, Adam
Deitchand Borahm Lee have produced and performed with
everyone from The Fugees, Wu Tang Clan, and Talib
Kweli, to reggae Lee Scratch Perry and Miles
Davis collaborator John Scofield. On Monolith
Code, Break Science evoke a wide spectrum of electronic genres
filtered through a musician's lens, all while moving people, both
spiritually and on the dance floor.
