TRUCKSTOP DARLIN’ are back at it again with an
impressive video premiere on RELIX for their debut video “Don’t Walk
Away.” A bit of an unconventional move, the group put together an
impressive piece that is based around their live set, showing their true connection
to their fans. With their brilliant live energy shining through, you will be
able to see the passion in the band’s performance as they give every bit of
blood, sweat and tears that they can muster.
"We didn't want to make a "music
video", instead we wanted to capture the energy of the live show as well
as the give and take between us and the crowd," says vocalist /
guitarist John Phelan. The band was truly successful with that as you can see
them interacting with the crowd that is moving along to the music.
On June 5th Truckstop Darlin’ releases their
newest album, Hope and the Heart It Breaks, to the ears of eager
listeners. Ten heartfelt tracks make up the record, with each proving to be a
showstopper on their own. Though they are reminiscent of Wilco, Uncle
Tupelo, and Drive-By Truckers, Truckstop Darlin’ goes above and
beyond the Alt-Country genre, blending it with pure heart-pounding Rock N’ Roll
that will stop you dead in your tracks. If you are looking to be blown away,
look no further thanTruckstop Darlin’, as they are about to send you on one
hell of a ride…that you better be prepared for.
Hailing from Portland, Oregon, Truckstop Darlin’ has
been creating a solid name for themselves in the music scene, and now it is
time for them to branch out into the world. Truckstop Darlin’is John
Phelan (Vocals, Guitars), Nick Foltz (Bass, Vocals), Michael Winter (Pedal
Steel) and Ben Blankenship (Drums). Formed in 2010, the band has been winning
over the hearts of music listeners from the beginning with their special brand
of nitty gritty rock n' roll.
