STRONG INTENTION: Exclusive Track Premiere Hosted By Decibel Magazine

Today Decibel Magazine unveils the sadistic sounds of “3rd Space Guerrilla Generator,” from Maryland powerviolence miscreants STRONG INTENTION. The track comes off the band’s soon-to-be-unleashedRazorblade Express EP and features guest vocals by Eyehategod vocalist/wordsmith Mike Williams.

Comments STRONG INTENTION’s founding frontman Zac Ohler of the tune: “The song was written as a quick blast of venom directed towards the ongoing concrete sprawl and urban development around the town I was living in. While the interior of the city and its neighborhoods fell into ruin, crime and squalor, the businessmen were riding the wave of the housing and commercial building boom at the beginning of the decade with no sense of intelligent city planning, destroying miles and miles of green space around the city I once knew.”

Razorblade Express will be released via PATAC Records on June 1, 2012 with the first pressing limited to just 500 copies. This isn’t one to sleep on! In addition, Razorblade Express features bass work by Cattle Decapitation’s Derek Engemann. Commends About.com in a recent review of the EP: “STRONG INTENTION’s major strength is the variety of speeds on most tracks as they tend to vary back and forth and unfurl a major bit of chaos on the listener. It is with these attributes that the listener is constantly hit with something new, whether it be slow blues laden sludge or over the top hardcore.”

In related news, STRONG INTENTION will bring their sonic menace to the stage. The live takeover will begin with a warm-up show opening for Marduk and 1349 on June 2 in Baltimore. From there the band will join fellow grind heathens Phobia for the East Coast Filth Tour 2012 set to commence June 3 in Detroit.

STRONG INTENTION will be joined by Misery Index/Pig Destroyer drummer Adam Jarvis for the short run of shows.
