Wax Tailor's first tour in the United States saw him opening for RJD2 and now he is coming back, headling his own tour bringing his signature sound of perfectly blended Hip-Hop, Soul, Funk, Jazz and 60s Pop to the States. His style is immediately identifiable, but his new album "In The Mood For Life" establishes a true evolution both in terms of production and song writing. String instruments, which were once just extras, now assume a more prominent role, and where genres once crossed path from one track to another, they now collide within a song.

You can witness this denser, more organic sound in-person with his tour startnig tonight, members consisting of Wax Tailor, two live vocalists in the form of Mattic, an MC from Charlotte, NC band The Others and Charlotte Savary, featured on the very first Wax Tailor ep 'Lost The Way'. Mathieu Detton on Cello and a flautist added into the mix.

"makes music you can almost see" - LA Times
