US Tour Dates Coming On Like Gang Busters

Noid, England bandits The Heavy have found a kindred spirit in the brazen, fast-and-loose swagger of HBO's ‘Entourage.' Vinnie Chase and crew will be hustlin' and bustlin' to The Heavy's latest single, ‘How You Like Me Now?' on the Season Six Finale this Sunday, October 4th. Let's say this: if The Heavy is the soundtrack to your life, you're living big, and clearly doing something right.

The band was recently featured in Spin Magazine as a ‘Hot New Band' – and with a full set of US tour dates booked, and a new album waiting in the wings, the boys from Noid are ready to catch fire. The Heavy release their sophomore album, “The House That Dirt Built,” in North America on October 13th via Counter / +1 Records. The single ‘How You Like Me Now?' is available now. Also, check out the Ghost remixes, available for download here and here.

To see the band in action, make sure to catch them as they rattle bones and howl across the US starting October 21st. The Heavy are back. Hide the women and children.

“Enough scuzz guitars and heart attack drums to make The Sonics blush... before exploding in a glorious cloud of amp shards and broken glass.” – NME

“A cast-iron groove-rock quintet whose mix of frazzle and funk gives off an instantaneous contact high. Superfly and superfun.” – Spin

“The Heavy are reaching into long forgotten closets and pulling archaic samplers, rusty horns and rotting guitars – then blowing the dust off ‘em and into your ear... Tom Waits harboring the RZA.” – URB

“The Heavy sound like Curtis Mayfield's ‘Pusherman' resurrecting Led Zeppelin and the exiled spirit of Cassius Clay. Get used to the weight, The Heavy are about to throw it down.” - The Fly
