The highly anticipated release of The Asteroids Galaxy Tour’s debut album, FRUIT, will arrive October 27 on Small Giants. In addition to a flurry of festival circuit appearances, the band joined Katy Perry on an extensive European tour this Summer. Those who missed the band in the states last year will have a chance to catch Copenhagen’s retro soul popsters as they ride the new wave of Scandanavian pop to NYC this November.

FRUIT is a musical rollercoaster of happy soul and kaleidoscopic pop triumphs, which includes ”Around The Bend” of Apple iPod Touch commercial fame, the more melancholic, teetering-on-trippy track “Satellite,” and “Lady Jesus” a deliciously-groovy song with an insatiable sing-a-long chorus that will get stuck in your head for days.
