With AIM AND IGNITE, fun. have crafted something special; a contemporary rethinking of classic 70s pop, where ornate arrangements and inspired orchestrations meet present-day rock 'n' roll. Buzzbands.la founder and former LA Times music critic Kevin Bronson described the trio as a “complex hybrid of jaunty pop, glam and white soul,” while USA Today called fun. “a band that lives up to its name, in a very Electric Orchestra sort of way.” Alternative Press, who features the band over two pages in the current issue, says fun. is “destined to make you smile.”
This irresistible collection of freewheeling pop songcraft has been met with an extraordinary amount of excitement from both new and old fans of these three remarkably talented musicians. The tremendous amount of online exchange has brought the band’s MySpace page to over 1 million plays in just over a month. fun. will embark on their first national headlining tour of North America beginning September 8th in Salt Lake City, UT.
AIM AND IGNITE is currently available at all retails stores, digital outlets and through the band’s website.
