Berlin, March 10th, 2008 - Native Instruments today released TRAKTOR SCRATCH 1.2, a free software update for its professional digital DJ system. The new version further enhances the acclaimed performance capabilities of TRAKTOR SCRATCH with optimized vinyl tracking, improved real-time looping and effect capabilities, extended iTunes integration and more.
With version 1.2, the looping capabilities of TRAKTOR SCRATCH have been extended with a new "manual loop" function, which allows DJs to easily set loops in tracks without beat grids. The powerful effects section of the software has also been upgraded with a wide range of improvements inherited from the latest version of TRAKTOR 3. Thanks to optimized time code tracking in version 1.2, the high-resolution vinyl control in TRAKTOR SCRATCH is now even more robust under all kinds of performance conditions.
Further improvements in TRAKTOR SCRATCH 1.2 include the ability to directly access iTunes subfolders, an enhanced time code meter, and a large number of detail optimizations and fixes.
