Alfa Matrix launches Playstation-line concept

Alfa Matrix launches Playstation-line concept
With Crisk.'s newest album "Machlaut" the Belgian label Alfa Matrix ( www.alfa-matrix.com ) also launches a new concept, that of the 'Playstation-line'. These albums will be characterised by their initial low pricing and their Playstation box packaging. Rather than see all newcomers ending up being only released digitally, Alfa Matrix will invest in this conceptual 'budget' line to launch new talents.

In a comment Seba Dolimont, A&R at Ala Matrix says:"Don't we expect record labels to discover and launch new talents? Unfortunately, today, with the disastrous state of the music market, nearly no indie labels still dare signing newcomers any longer, leaving hundreds of talented young bands unheard on the street. Fighting for the survival of real physical CD releases on the underground music scene for everyone, rather than see all newcomers ending up being only released digitally, Alfa Matrix is launching a conceptual 'budget' line of full length CD albums under the 'playstation-line' motto. Without daring signing newcomers, Alfa Matrix would have never released killer acts like Ayria, Unter Null, Zombie Girl, Glis, I:Scintilla, Helalyn Flowers, ..."
