Today, once again, indy rap pioneer/martyr SOLE has
made history AGAIN. The self proclaimed "White Bill Gates" is
now entering into the TECH fray. A little known fact is that sole was IT
support liason for Arthur D Little Consulting's 7 west coast offices back
in the late 90s and went on to work for Listen.com shortly after. At the
ripe age of 21 it was clear that the tech bubble was going to burst and that
his $300k worth of shares would be worthless before you could say "there
are no WMD's." It was this know-how and insider corporate background
that made his creation of the anticon label such a huge success.
Today, sole steps back into the tech world. Sole has
teamed up with Mad Monkey Militia gaming to create a new kind of
artist app, which is also a first for indy rappers. It is a one stop for
all various elements of sole's world... featuringa very sleek audio
player, integrated video, store, photos, relevant political blogging, and will
soon be expanded for lyrics, recipes and much more. The app works on ALL
mobile devices but for now is only available in the itunes store.
