Dispatch has unveiled the director's cut of the
video for their song "Not Messin'" via their YouTube Channel.
Directed by so pa Productions (Coachella & Bonnaroo documentaries, The Low
Anthem, Alexi Murdoch), the video was shot at Mishnock Barn in West Greenwich,
RI - home of the region's best line dancing. More than 150 enthusiastic fans
responded to Dispatch's call out for extras, and arrived at the video shoot
location in their best Country Western attire. Mishnock Barn is a location hand
picked by the band, as the barn is located next door to LakeWest Recording
Studio where the band recorded their early albums Bang Bang, Four-Day Trials,
and Who Are We Living For?. Mishnock Barn owners Dan and Kelly Albro recruited
and taught their line dancing regulars to perform the line dance that made an
appearance in the video. The storyline and concept was a collaboration between
Dispatch members and so pa.
Beginning today, fans can pre-order the band's forthcoming
album Circles Around The Sun on the band's web store. A limited quantity of music and merch
bundles are available including: deluxe vinyl with a 28 page hardcover book,
CDs, apparel, autographed photo prints, and more. Pre-orders qualify fans for
weekly drawings where the band gives away one-of-a-kind Dispatch items like
custom bobble-heads of the band and a Chia Chad. For a complete breakdown of
the various bundles available, click HERE.
The album is also available on iTunes for the special low pre-order only
price of $6.99.
Circles Around The Sun is Dispatch's first
studio album in twelve years and is due out on August 21st on their Bomber
Records. Produced by Peter Katis (Interpol, Jonsi, The National), Circles
Around The Sun is an eclectic rock and roll record that delivers
the gutsy storytelling, compelling songwriting and radiant harmonies that has
earned the band its diehard fanbase. It was recorded at The Clubhouse
(Rhinebeck, NY), Water Music (Hoboken, NJ), and Terrapin Studio (Bridgeport,
CT).
In an effort to continue to use music as a vehicle for
change, Dispatch will donate $1.00 per initial pre-order to Amplifying
Education, an initiative created by the band to support educational initiatives
in local communities. An additional $1.00 from all tickets sold for the
upcoming Circles Around The Sun Tour will also be donated to the cause. With
the help of it's fans, the band raised over $250,000 for the initiative in
2011. For more information please visit www.dispatchmusic.com/giving_back.

ABOUT DISPATCH
Dispatch is Chad Stokes, Brad Corrigan, and Pete
Francis. After forming in New England in 1996 and through intense word of
mouth and fan loyalty, Dispatch went on to become one of the biggest draws on
the live music scene, and arguably one of the biggest independent rock bands in
History. The band released their debut album in 1996, an acoustic-driven
folk-pop affair called Silent Steeples, on their own Bomber Records
followed by 1998's reggae-flavored Bang Bang. In 1999 the band
released their third album Four Day Trials. After a brief hiatus
during which various members pursued solo endeavors, in 2004 the group
organized a free show in Boston on the Esplanade, anticipating perhaps 20,000
people would turn up. The concert became the largest show in independent music
event history (documented in the feature film The Last Dispatch).
In 2011 the trio decided to record new music, which led to last year's Dispatch
EP and nowCircles Around The Sun.
