EVE TO ADAM WILL PLAY CAMP LEJEUNE'S
SAND JAM 2007 AUG. 4 FOR MARINES
Queens Rockers Will Play "Comin' Home (A Stranger),"
Their Tribute to Returning War Veterans at North Carolina Base Event

NEW YORK, July 25, 2007-Queens, N.Y. rock & rollers Eve to Adam, who just released their debut album, Queens to Eden, on KDS Music Group through EMI, have been asked to perform at the Camp Lejeune Single Marine Program's 10th annual Sand Jam 2007 on Saturday, Aug. 4 at Onslow Beach on the North Carolina base. The event is being sponsored by local radio station Rock 105.

The group, led by singer Taki Sassaris, his brother, drummer Alex, guitarist Gaurav Bali and bassist Riv, will perform their moving "Comin' Home (A Stranger)," a song Taki wrote from the point of view of a soldier returning from the front and trying to acclimate back to society. The song has been receiving raves when the band dedicates the song to the troops in concert.

"I just wanted to remind people of the great sacrifice our military and their families have made," he says. "It's not a political song. It comes from the heart. It's the least I could do, and we've gotten tremendous response from soldiers at our shows. I just want the focus to remain on them and their lives and not necessarily on the band. We know the troops have jobs to do over there, but we're all looking forward to seeing them come home safely."

Sand Jam is presented by Camp Lejeune's Semper Fit Single Marine Program and sponsored by Rock 105, Miller, LeBleu, Coors Light, Busweiser, Pioneer Services and New River Harley Davidson.

Eve to Adam will perform from 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

The group opened for a number of bands over the first six months of the year, including Daughtry, The Exies, Smile Empty Soul, Saliva, Tesla and Crossfade, making them the self-declared Rocky Balboa underdogs of the rock touring circuit.

The band's debut album, Queens to Eden, was released on June 26. The band's first single, "151," described by Taki as "a good-time song about going out in New York at midnight and partying until dawn," is already charting at Active Rock Radio.

"When people see the band, they sign up," concludes Taki. "We're a live rock & roll band. You go big or you go home. And as long s they keep coming back, we'll keep dishing it out."
