Masterful on new album, Lost In The Dream, and transcendent on stage, The War On Drugs continue to ascend in such a special and well-deserved way. They're playing to massive crowds at festivals across the globe, selling out large rooms across the country several months in advance, and sixteen weeks following its March 18th release on Secretly Canadian, Lost In The Dream firmly remains in the Billboard Top 200! Last night, The War On Drugs triumphantly returned to the Late Show With David Letterman, where they performed in 2012 in support of Slave Ambient. Though so strong on their Letterman debut three years ago, with last night's extraordinary performance of Lost In The Dream single "Red Eyes," it was clearly evident this great band has reached new heights, yet nowhere near where they're headed.
As previously announced, The War On Drugs have a huge fall tour on the horizon. They'll play a bunch of cities in which they haven't yet played in support of Lost In The Dream and return to various towns, but play bigger rooms - they play two shows at The Fonda in Los Angeles and The Fillmore in San Francisco, andheadline The Hideout Block Party/AV Fest in Chicago. Additionally, this summer, the band plays theCapitol Hill Block Party in Seattle and returns to Pickathon. All dates are below.
