Part Broadway, part burlesque, part rock concert, part history lesson— there's nothing quite like it anywhere…
The seductive, bizarre and brazen EMILIE AUTUMN, recognized world-wide for her entrancing music and bold performances, is pleased to announce that due to the ravenous response to her “Fight Like A Girl” tour (named after her most recent full-length release, Fight Like A Girl), Emilie will be setting fans at ease by appearing on a special co-headline tour with The Birthday Massacre in November 2013. The tour will run through December 9th and will include an assortment of fan favorites, accented by alluring choreography and spectacular visuals. This is a must-see event!
Each of EMILIE AUTUMN’s tantalizing performances should not be confused with a rock show, but rather regarded as a rock opera with a real story to tell. Beyond her dramatic vocal performance which masterfully fluctuates from operatic to filthy industrial and back again (she's notorious for performing Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody as a nightly encore), polus her violin virtuosity, she elegantly strikes that effervescent balance between sex, violence, and English literature. Part Broadway, part burlesque, part rock concert, part history lesson, there's nothing quite like it anywhere.

But wait, there’s more. In addition to her many other talents, Emilie is a gifted author. In 2009, EMILIE AUTUMNunveiled her long-awaited novel, The Asylum for Wayward Victorian Girls, an autobiographical, reality-bending, historical thriller. The fully illustrated book chronicles Emilie's experiences in a mental ward and a young girl in Victorian England who is admitted into an insane asylum. The elaborate, nearly five-pound book is chock-full of full-color glossy pages delicately highlighting Emilie’s sketches, paintings, photographs and erratic scribbles. If you prefer song with your story (who doesn’t?), The Asylum for Wayward Victorian Girls is a direct companion to her most recently released album, the empowering Fight Like A Girl, which she describes as being about “taking things that make women the underdogs and using them to your advantage.” The San Francisco Examiner called it, “an operatic feminist treatise set inside an insane asylum, wherein the female inmates gradually realize their own strength in numbers.” Fight Like A Girl was released during the summer of 2012. Known for her eccentric style and prodigious musical talent (she began reading notes before learning the alphabet and was already playing violin at four years old), EMILIE AUTUMN spent her youth playing concert halls throughout the U.S. and Europe as a classical violinist before going mad, landing herself in an insane asylum and emerging as a rock singer with a murderous streak.
With appearances on Leno and Letterman as part of Courtney Love's band, glossy magazine covers throughout the world, and guest spots on albums by such artists as Love, Otep,
Billy Corgan, and TV's "Metalocalypse", not to mention her starring role in the film phenomenon that is Darren Lynn Bousman's "The Devil's Carnival" under her corset strings,
EMILIE AUTUMN reinvents “gothic” for the masses.
