Denver Black Sky And Granite House Records To Release Special AXESLASHER/CALL OF THE VOID Split 7"
|
Denver Black Sky, the Mile High City's premier extreme music event, in partnership with Granite House Records, announces the release of a special 7" featuring tunes from AXESLASHER and CALL OF THE VOID. Originally only available to VIP ticketholders to Denver Black Sky, the 7" will now be printed and available in two additional color options - Denver Blue and Bronco Orange, limited to 100!
Side A of the 7" features AXESLASHER's thrashing new single "The Drifter's Warning," which was recorded at the Converse Rubber Tracks studio in Brooklyn and showcases Denver Black Sky headcheese/Skinless ringleader Sherwood Webber making a rare appearance behind the drum kit.
Side B features Relapse recording artist CALL OF THE VOID's smoldering cover of His Hero Is Gone's "Headless, Heartless," which was previously only available in Japan. CALL OF THE VOIDretains its original spirit while infusing their own brand of sonic hostility to the mix. As a precursor to their onstage battery at Black Sky, the band will be opening for Morbid Angel in November at the Bluebird Theater in Denver (more info HERE).
Check out streams of both tracks at THIS LOCATION.
Black versions of the AXESLASHER/CALL OF THE VOID 7" will be given to VIP pass holders to Denver Black Sky (December 14th, Gothic Theater Denver), while blue and orange versions will be sold online along with official posters and apparel via http://denverblacksky.bigcartel.com. Exclusive apparel and 7" bundles will be available through http://www.heavygranitehouse.com.
Black Sky is set to destroy Denver on December 14th at the Gothic Theater. Tickets are on sale now at THIS LOCATION.
