the B-Side of the “Undertow” single.

Seattle-based singer-songwriter Robert Deeble will
officially release “Undertow” on January 24th, the
first single from his first album in six years Heart Like Feathers.
The album is due out on the artist’s own Mind Bomb Publishing label
in association with Dead Letter Records on February 7th.
The B-side of the “Undertow” single is Deeble’s
cover of the Bob Dylan song “Ring Them Bells” and
features vocals by fellow Seattle singer-songwriter, Kate Tucker as
well as backing by the Seattle Rock Orchestra. “Undertow” also
showcases the contributions of another noted female vocalist and songwriter, Anna
Lynne Williams of ethereal dream-pop bandTrespassers William on
its title track.
In addition to Williams, joining Deeble on Heart
Like Feathers is Victoria Williams (folk heroine
and one of Paste Magazine’s “Top 100 Living Songwriters”), Stephen
Hodges (drummer with Tom Waits and Mavis
Staples), and Ric Hordinski (co-founder of noted Americana
band Over The Rhine). Heart Like Feathers was
produced by Dylan Magierek, founder ofBadman Recording Co. (My
Morning Jacket, Mark Kozelek, The Innocence Mission).
