New Album "Sucre Du Sauvage" Out Now on Goner Records!
Following news of their recent hiatus, and in support of
their new album "Sucre Du Sauvage" (released earlier
this year on Goner Records), Quintron and Miss Pussycat have have
announced upcoming year-end 2011 and early 2012 US tour dates including
performances on the second annual Bruise Cruise.
Designed specifically for the cruise dates, Quintron will be unveiling his new signature sound system - The Swamp Stack. The Swamp Stack is the new custom made 70 volt PA waterproof mobile sound system able to run up to 50 different speakers at the same time - "like a supermarket muzak system on steroids" says Quintron. The subwoofer is built into a huge white shrimp cooler and each speaker cabinet is faced with palm fronds from the streets of New Orleans. "This is how things turn out when you don't have any money and all the hardware stores are closed. Around here we call it 'clubhouse style'... like when you have to unscrew screws from the floor of the clubhouse to fix the roof of the clubhouse... and the walls are crooked cuz you ran out of wood. Oh and it sounds as nasty as it looks... in a good way!" Quintron and Miss Pussycat will also be debuting a brand new puppet show on the boat.
