EW.com called "Every Teardrop Is A Waterfall" "another epic inspirational cut" while RollingStone.com observed: "When the drums kick in fully, it moves like 'Sunday Bloody Sunday' by way of the Velvets' 'Sunday Morning,' a flag-waving ode to change-as-inspiration." "The song...isa logical extension of the expansive sounds of Viva La Vida," said Spin.com and MTV.com hailed it as "four minutes of pure, unadulterated uplift."
Coldplay will perform at numerous international festivals including today's Rock im Park in Nuremberg, Germany, the U.K.'s Glastonbury and T In The Park festivals, Fuji Rock in Japan, Splendour In The Grass in Australia and Brazil's Rock in Rio.
