GREAT CYNICS Stream New Album at AOL Music... "Don't Need Much" Available Today!
As London’s GREAT CYNICS (formerly Cynics) debut album Don't Need Much is released today in the US via Kind Of Like Records, the trio has teamed up with AOL Music to bring fans a full album stream: http://music.aol.com/new-releases-full-cds#/11. After hearing the album, fans can order the 12" vinyl, available in green and black variations, through the Kind Of Like Records webstore (http://bit.ly/KOLGreatCynics), or a digital copy through iTunes (http://bit.ly/GreatCynicsiTunes).
Despite legal issues surrounding their name, the band has pushed forward, releasing an inspiring and critically acclaimed debut album. Don't Need Much has been hailed by Alter The Press as "this summer's soundtrack" with Alternative Press adding "Don't Need Much isn't going to leave your headphones for weeks." Rock Sound praised the album as well, awarding it an 8/10, while Big Cheese Magazine called Don't Need Much a "confident and accomplished debut album."
In support of the record, Great Cynics will be hitting the road this July with The Living Daylights and playing shows with the likes of Algernon Cadwallader, Lemuria and Cheap Girls. US tour dates are being confirmed and will be announced shortly, which includes a set at this year’s tenth annual Fest in Gainesville, FL.
