OKKULTOKRATI Premieres New Video, “Snakereigns,” Via Noisey

OKKULTOKRATI today exclusively premiere their new video for “Snakereigns,” on the Noisey Youtube Channel. Shot by Hai, the mainman in the electronic metal outfit Next Life, and Ildfar, band friend and video artist, the video is shot with the ethos of  “what we do in life echoes in eternity” in mind.

The video was shot for the title track of the OKKULTORATI’s Snakereigns album, set for North American release on Samhain 2012 via Oslo-based Fysisk Format label. Produced by Emil Nikolaisen of Serena Maneesh, the album is a slice of filthy, brutal punk from Norway’s finest.

Get your face bashed-in by the “Snakereigns” video RIGHT HERE.

Invisible Oranges is hosting a stream of the track “Nothing Awaits” AT THIS LOCATION, and BrooklynVegan is streaming album opener “No Ouroboros,” HERE.

Building their anthems on straightforward punk beats with the filth of unholy black n’ roll running through their veins, OKKULTOKRATI proudly let their influences from the masters of the genre bleed through, yet their spine-crushing anthems speak for themselves. With unique guitar atmospheres and a mix of high/low-end riffage busting through the thunderous percussion and gnarled vocals, OKKULTOKRATI are part of the infamous Black Hole Crew scene, their local nihilistic brethren in Obliteration, Haust, Dark Times and a handful of other local henchmen, remain their only comrades. Snakereigns follows-up the band’s No Light For Mass debut, released amidst a handful of EPs, demos and split releases.

Promos of Snakereigns and interviews with the OKKULTOKRATI crew are available now.

“Slithering, metallic black rock and roll with moments of crushing doom is the central theme on Snakereigns…” - BrooklynVegan

“This isn't a record review as much as it is a WARNING: Okkultokrati scorch the earth and scatter the ashes with Snakereigns. Music for riots!” - The Bone Reader
