THE BODY Schedule Cross-Country May Tour Debut Album To See Reissue

End-time sludge-metal duo THE BODY have confirmed a five-date cross-country tour later this month, coinciding with the band's transplant from their current East Coast residence to Portland, Oregon.

Following their performance at this year's eclectic Savage Weekend Fest in Carrboro, North Carolina on May 18th, THE BODY's cross-country tour will kick off in their current locale of Greensboro, North Carolina, followed by shows in Nashville, Denver and Boise before ending the trek in Portland. Joining THE BODY on the tour will be Greensboro-based down-tuned crust outfit Low Sky (featuring members of Braveyoung and more), with performances from Heartless, Dead In The Dirt, Thrones and more joining on specific dates.

THE BODY May 2012 Tour Dates:
5/18/2012 Nightlight - Carrboro, NC @ Savage Weekend Fest 2012
5/20/2012 house show [412 North Cedar] - Greensboro, NC w/ Low Sky
5/22/2012 WTC Tower 2 - Nashville, TN w/ Low Sky
5/24/2012 Blast-O-Mat - Denver, CO w/ Heartless, Dead In The Dirt, Low Sky
5/25/2012 The Shredder - Boise, ID w/ Low Sky
5/26/2012 Plan B - Portland, OR w/ Thrones, Low Sky

Following their acclaimed 2010-released All the Waters of the Earth Turn to Blood LP and a split collaborative LP with Braveyoung, both released by At A Loss Recordings, amidst multiple other DIY releases over the past year, THE BODY's scathing 2004-released self-titled debut LP will see re-release this Summer from At A Loss. More details on this and other forthcoming releases from the band will be announced as they are ready for public announcement.
