Orlando, FL.--- Spooky Empire's Ultimate Horror Weekend is almost upon us. Set for October 17-19, 2008 at the Wyndham Orlando Resort in Orlando, Florida, this years show promises to exceed all expectations as the place to be and party with you favorite ghouls and ghosts.

Spooky Empire's Ultimate Horror Weekend is a 3 day festival celebrating the world of Horror and includes dozens of celebrity guests, artists, writers, vendors, parties, Q&A's, panels, independent films, tattoo artists, costume contests, workshops & more!

With this years show right around the corner Spooky Empire is proud to announce the final guest list for the event. This years celebrity line up includes

"We want people to know we put on a horror convention as big as those found anywhere in the country, as we’ve proven in the past, and as usual this year we are bringing a variety of horror guests from classics like ‘Creature from the Black Lagoon" to modern sensations like ‘Saw", said promoter Petey Mongelli.

The weekend will start off with the 2nd Annual Zombie Walk, hosted by the Deadite Empire. A huge success last year, the show couldn’t start out this year without it.

There will also be a Zombie Luau party at the Wyndham, poolside on Friday night, benefiting the charity Simba’s Pride.

"We try to take in all that is part of the horror culture and make it part of Spooky Empire’s Ultimate Horror Weekend. This year we will have a special tattooing component of the convention, Screamin’ Ink, as well as the Freak Show Film Festival, a huge costume contest, seminars and various Q&A sessions with the celebrities and a video game room," Mongelli said.

Some of the events planned for the festival (in addition to the Zombie Walk, Zombie Luau and Film Festival) will include Q&A's with Malcolm McDowell, The Hellraiser Reunion Q&A, The Dawn of the Dead Q&A, a special photo shoot for fans with Elvira: Mistress of the Dark in full costume, Live Music with a dozen bands, The Catwalk Tragedy Alternative Beauty Pageant, The Vaudevillains Burlesque Show, Video Game tournaments in The GPX console gaming room and hours of more insanity too numerous to mention here.

Add to all of that, large rooms full of vendors selling every kind of horror memorabilia imaginable and its obvious this is an event no horror fan worth his or her machete will want to miss.
