I HEART HIROSHIMA Tuff Teef

[Valve]

From Brisbane, Australia the home of The Saints & The Go-Betweens emerges indie three-piece - Matt (guitar/voice), Susie (drums/voice) & Cameron (guitar/voice/art)... no bass - I HEART HIROSHIMA.

I Heart Hiroshima started from back street parties of Brisbane and offer the spirits of many they adore: Sleater-Kinney, Leonard Cohen, Smiths, Pixies, Bob Dylan, Ryan Adams, Go-Betweens, and TV on the Radio.

Since their beginnings in late 2005 they have gone to tour and play with Ratatat, Peaches & Herms, Deerhoof, Broken Social Scene, Calvin Johnson, Erase Errata, Macromantics, Clap Your Hands Say Yeah, Rogers Sisters, The Grates, Mess Hall, and an appearance on the Big Day Out 2007 mega-festival.

More recently they have toured Australia with Cat Power, Regurgitator, New Pants (China), a trip to New Zealand with Ratatat, and are currently touring with guests An Horse. They have been asked to accompany Conor Oberst on his upcoming Australian tour this October.

With three well received EPs under their belts - 3 Letter Word for Candy, Cut in Colour, & Punks - I HEART HIROSHIMA at last makes their much anticipated full-lengh debut - Tuff Teef. Recorded in Sydney at Megaphon with Jonboyrock and mastered in NY by Alan Douches (Sufjan Stevens, Ben Folds Five, Mastodon).
