IfIHadAHiFi Release Date Moved to October 14

IfIHadAHiFi have finally bequeathed their new songs to you in the form of an album: Fame By Proxy was originally scheduled for release on Latest Flame Records* on September 23, but the release date has now been MOVED to October 14.

Recorded by Shane Olivo in Milwaukee, mixed by John Congleton (The Paper Chase) in Texas, and mastered at Silver Sonya in DC, Fame By Proxy brings more hooks, still more obtusely nerdy subject material, and more tinnitus. IfIHadAHiFi will be taking their powerful live act on the road this Fall, including a local CD release party on Sept. 6 at The Cactus Club in Milwaukee. (Full schedule below)

Since 2000, HiFi have slowly built a loyal core following via two full-length CDs, a split LP (with their pals, the lamented and departed Modern Machines), five national tours, gobs of college radio play and positive press - including a spot in Alternative Press' "100 Bands You Need to Hear in 2005."

Please check out your copy of Fame By Proxy and let us know what you think. Check out the new video for "Success! Success! Success!" featuring a cake walk gone awry at yarrrpr.com
