Five Points Church Hosts "Rock for the Rescue" Concert to Benefit City Rescue Mission, Jacksonvilleís Homeless
Jacksonville, FL, November 27,2007 - Five Points Church, a newly established area ministry, is hosting a benefit concert on Dec. 9 to further the efforts of the City Rescue Mission (CRM) and its Christian recovery program that helps homeless and needy individuals rebuild their lives.
The "Rock for the Rescue" concert will feature a host of local bands including headliners The Sophomore Attempt, Shangrala and Matlock. Other featured artists include JoeEveritt, Don't Sigh Daisy and The Metanoia Project Band.
Starbucks will be onsite selling coffee, tea and hot chocolate drinks for $1. Admission to the event is $8 and directly benefits CRM. The Rock for the Rescue concert begins at 5 p.m. on Dec. 9 at the Five Points Theater, 1025 Park Street, Jacksonville, Fla.
Five Points Church is a ministry of The Metanoia Project, a Christ-centered community committed to serving humanity and furthering social justice.
