SISTER HAZEL PARTNERS WITH FORD FOR SYNC MY RIDE
Tour Dates Leading Up To And Following New Album Release In August
Sister Hazel, the Gainesville, Florida, rock five-piece, has teamed up with the Ford Motor Company for the car manufacturer’s Sync My Ride website (www.syncmyride.com). As the band who will be the face of Sync My Ride, Sister Hazel will be offering an exclusive track download for the Sync My Ride website. An acoustic version of the title track from their forthcoming album, “Release,” will be available for download for free from the site beginning July 15th. As part of recent tour schedule and their partnership with Ford, when in Milwaukee for Summerfest in late June, they appeared at the Ford Drive One Tour display where they played Rock Band and hung out with fans.
The band, who have logged over 3,500 live shows throughout the course of their career, continue touring as always and will have dates leading up to the August 18th release of their new album, as well as plenty of dates once the album is out (see tour dates below). “Release,” which is their seventh disc of original material, features twelve tracks, with the lead single being “Take A Bow,” which goes for adds at radio in July. Sister Hazel was just selected this week as a “recommended” user on Twitter. Fans can follow the band at @SisterHazelBand on Twitter to get updates from all five band members. A fan-centric promotion was also launched earlier this week: Give Sister Hazel A Ring. Every three days, a new phone number will be released to the public, and fans can use the active numbers to call and speak to a band member between the hours of 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. eastern.
