LIBRARY VOICES TOUR WITH COYOTES

LIBRARY VOICES ANNOUNCE TOUR, PREVIEW NEW SINGLE, LAUNCH BLOG FOR EXCLAIM!,
AND ISSUE WARNING TO POTENTIAL THIEVES

In the wake of a robbery last February that left them broke, instrumentless, and homeless (OK, not homeless) Library Voices are gearing up for a summer tour.

The jaunt will see them sharing the stage with Hawksley Workman, Black Francis, Pattern Is Movement, and Dog Day, along with taking up a temporary residence at the legendary Horseshoe Tavern in Toronto. Other stops include Hillside Festival, Ottawa Blues Fest, and an Icelandic Festival in rural Manitoba.

The band recently posted the single ‘Drinking Games’ from their forthcoming album on Myspace (www.myspace.com/thelibraryvoices) and their travels, trials, and tribulations will be documented in a tour blog for EXCLAIM! Magazine (www.exclaim.ca).

Library Voices have also issued the following statement:

"Dear thieves,
It's with an air of bashfulness that we have to admit we were just a bunch of small town kids naive to the cruel realities of big city living. On our last tour you managed to rob us of $10,000 worth of our beloved gear, making off with everything from guitars and saxophones to drums and amplifiers, but this time around we aren't going to make it so easy on you. Not only will be hauling ALL of our gear inside EVERY night, we will also be touring with a pack of angst ridden coyotes. The coyotes have agreed to sleep in the trailer at night and keep a watchful eye over our van. They also breath fire, spit venom, and can shoot swarms of bees from their paws. Just sayin'.
Best, Library Voices”
