While in the Indianapolis area, the tour bus NEW FOUND GLORY was traveling on was stopped by police for having high beams engaged while driving. The police searched the bus and one of the crewmembers was detained and charged with a misdemeanor. No member of NEW FOUND GLORY was arrested. The band is currently at the Riverbend Music Centre in Cincinnati and will perform at today’s scheduled Warped Tour date and will remain on the tour as planned.
NEW FOUND GLORY is on tour promoting their upcoming release From The Screen To Your Stereo Part 2 out on Drive-Thru Records September 18th. AL JOURGENSEN TO JOIN CHEAP TRICK AT THE HOLLYWOOD BOWL FOR THE BEATLES' "SGT. PEPPER'S LONELY HEARTS CLUB BAND" 40TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION
Ministry's AL JOURGENSEN has been confirmed to special guest with Cheap Trick when they perform The Beatles' "Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band" from start to finish in celebration of the 40th anniversary of the landmark album. Jourgensen will join Cheap Trick onstage in Los Angeles at the Hollywood Bowl on August 10 and 11 to perform the Beatles' "I Want You (She's So Heavy)," considered to be one of the most complex songs ever recorded by the Fab Four.
At the specific request of Cheap Trick's Rick Nielson and Robin Zander, the Ministry guitarist/vocalist has re-arranged the song and made it "bent, in the Al Jourgensen way." Ministry/RevCo guitarist Sin Quirin will join Jourgensen and Cheap Trick onstage for the performance.
"'Sgt. Pepper's' is certainly one of the greatest pieces of art ever created, so to be asked to participate in this momentous occasion is a great honor," commented Jourgensen.
Jourgensen will see Ministry's final studio album, "The Last Sucker," released on September 18 (13th Planet/Megaforce). The album is the third in an unrelenting and uber-critical CD trilogy aimed at exposing the plethora of foils, failures and fabrications perpetrated by the George W. Bush Administration.
"The Last Sucker" was produced and recorded this past Spring by Jourgensen at his 13th Planet compound just outside of El Paso, TX, and sees the return of "Rio Grande Blood" musicians "Thomas Victor (Prong) on guitars, Paul Raven (Killing Joke/Prong) on bass, with newcomer guitarist Sin Quirin from The Revolting Cocks 2006 touring line-up. Jourgensen and his engineer John "Bixby" Bilberry handled all the drum programming. In addition, Burton C. Bell from Fear Factory makes a vocal appearance on "Die In A Crash," as well as the album's final two songs, "End of Days" parts One and Two.

2007: TAKING AIR GUITAR TO ALL NEW HEIGHTS
This past June, US Air Guitar boarded a (rather expensive) tour bus, loaded the air-gear, and took to the road for their first National Tour, spanning 14 cities across the country. MC’d by journeyman/star of the theatrical movie Air Guitar Nation/THE Ambassador Of Air, BJORN TUROQUE, and with the support of TouchTunes, the Tour brought out an unprecedented line-up of virtual virtuosos both seasoned and new. In its 5th year, with more US cities and sold-out shows than ever before – and with a two-year losing streak at the World Championships – US Air Guitar is hopeful that on August 16, THE US AIR GUITAR CHAMPIONSHIP in New York City will spawn the US Champion who can turn things around in the 2007 Air Guitar World Championships in Finland this September.
Before a sold-out Bowery Ballroom audience in June 2006, San Francisco Regional Champion HOTT LIXX HULAHAN became the 4th US Air Guitar National Champion. With near-perfect scores in the compulsory round, he defeated a formidable array of talent from across the country, including defending National Champion THE ROCKNESS MONSTER and the raw talent of New York’s WILLIAM OCEAN. For those who were not in attendance that night, let’s just say that amidst a scoring controversy, the judges, crowd members, and fellow contestants alike were all clamoring for a sudden death Air-Off between the eventual champion, Hot Lixx Hulahan, and the local NY hero, William Ocean. Well, they will all get their collective wish. William Ocean repeated as New York City’s Regional Champion, and has arch rival Hot Lixx Hulahan in the crosshairs in 2007.
The tour kicked off in Washington DC to a sold-out show of over 1200 people at the 9:30 Club, where a (oh, how do we put this) seasoned veteran known simply as THE SHRED brought the house down with moves he must have learned watching American Bandstand or at various sock-hops, we’re guessing. Chicago Champion and upstart young-gun SKEETY JONES is, by all accounts, the real deal. By bringing a whole new level of style and flow to Air Guitar, “Skeety” dethroned The Windy City’s popular incumbent NORDIC THUNDER. Boston’s McNALLICA brought the thunder on a muggy New England night to become the greatest female contender since 2004’S US and World Air Guitar Champion, SONYKROK. USAG headed south in 2007, and at a truck stop along the way, we found a pair of identical twins known as STRYKER and BIG RIG, who took top honors in Dallas and Houston, respectively; no doubt, a proud moment for the entire family. San Francisco’s regional champion won the whole thing last year, and this year’s representative looks to do the same. And with a name like RICKY STINKFINGERS who’s bold enough to doubt him?
In short, the 2007 Air Guitar Tour was chock full of wild misadventure. Air was shred, scores were given, hearts were broken, dreams fulfilled, and the Gods of Rock looked favorably upon all the land.

The US Air Guitar Championships is here to make this possible. Founded in 2003, US Air Guitar is the official Air Guitar Association of the United States and is responsible for operating the US Air Guitar Championships, official Regional events, and specialized championships. THE COMPETITION
All 14 Regional city winners, and defending champ Hot Lixx Hulahan, will be brought to New York City to compete in the US Air Guitar Finals on August 16 for the crown of US Air Guitar Champion. The 2007 US Champ will then be sent to Oulu, Finland in early September to represent the USA in the World Championships, where he or she will compete against the national winners from countries around the world. The US Finals will consist of two rounds. In Round 1, each competitor performs to a song of their own choosing. In Round 2, the top competitors from Round 1 perform to a surprise compulsory song. In each round, contestants perform for one minute of a song and are judged on a combination of technical merit, stage presence, and “airness." All guitars must be invisible. The jury is a panel of independent judges that are hand picked by US Air Guitar. The results of the jury cannot be protested.

Before a sold-out Bowery Ballroom audience in June 2006, San Francisco Regional Champion HOTT LIXX HULAHAN became the 4th US Air Guitar National Champion. With near-perfect scores in the compulsory round, he defeated a formidable array of talent from across the country, including defending National Champion THE ROCKNESS MONSTER and the raw talent of New York’s WILLIAM OCEAN. For those who were not in attendance that night, let’s just say that amidst a scoring controversy, the judges, crowd members, and fellow contestants alike were all clamoring for a sudden death Air-Off between the eventual champion, Hot Lixx Hulahan, and the local NY hero, William Ocean. Well, they will all get their collective wish. William Ocean repeated as New York City’s Regional Champion, and has arch rival Hot Lixx Hulahan in the crosshairs in 2007.

Known for bringing favored acts like The Juggaknots and Smiley Da Ghetto Child out of obscurity and back into the public eye, Amalgam Digital strikes once again, this time signing Kurious Jorge to the label. On Sept 18th 2007 Amalgam will be re-releasing “A Constipated Monkey” as a prelude to his sophomore album which features Mf Doom on production due early 2008. In anticipation of the re-release and his upcoming sophomore LP Kurious asserts “I’m real glad to be doing these projects with Amalgam Digital. This shits’ gonna be another fun record. That’s my word.”
Banking on the underground success of his singles "Walk Like a Duck" and "Uptown Shit," Kurious Jorge (the rapper not the monkey from children's books) released his debut album in early 1994. The album's subtle mix of underground vigor and flavorful party anthems pleased many of hip-hop's discerning aficionados. A guest list that included The Hieroglyphics' Casual and DJ Lord Sear on the mic and a back-from-the-dead Bosco Money from Downtown Science, The Beatnuts and Pete Nice and Daddy Rich on production gave the album a session feel. The album's wide range of samples, from The Black Byrds to Fifth Dimension, made for a quirky overall musical effect. Kurious does well to play up the strength of his honest style, a concise and careful delivery without sacrificing wit. In the end, the catchy single "I'm Kurious" positions itself as the album’s true watermark, while cuts like "Top Notch" and the B-side "Mansion and a Yacht" featuring Sadat X from Brand Nubian are also bona fide mid-'90s hip-hop jams. Of all the golden era rap records that are known to inspire feelings of nostalgia in today’s jaded listener, it is possible that Kurious’ “A Constipated Monkey” tugs at a b-boy’s heartstrings the hardest as it embodies the naturally positive and joyous attitude that is romantically linked to hip-hop of the past.
In addition, “A Constipated Monkey” Re-Release will feature several hidden bonus tracks (the B-Side classic “Mansion And A Yacht” and “I’m Kurious” Remix) not available on the original pressing.
