Childhood debut "Blue Velvet" via House Anxiety Records

Meet Childhood, four fresh-faced Londoners who came together over a shared love for early Creation Records, classic soul, Americana and shoe-gaze, influencing the sound of their debut single "Blue Velvet."

Forming at Nottingham University in 2011, as a duo creating bedroom demos, the band line-up has expanded to a four-piece, comprised of co-frontmen Leo Dodson and Ben Romans-Hopcraft, Bassist Daniel Salamons and drummer Chris O Driscoll.

In support of the new single, Childhood is hitting the road on a 25-date UK tour with 'saviours of British guitar music' (NME), Palma Violets. They will also join acclaimed sister duo 2:54 for a number of their UK shows.

'Blue Velvet' and the b-side 'Bond Girls' will be released on limited edition seven-inch vinyl and digitally via the House Anxiety imprint, the label that introduced the world to everyone from Zoo Kid to 2:54 and The Big Pink.
