Band of Horses will indulge each of the polar opposites of the band's musical identity - a range described in the new Rolling Stone Hot List as "pure Southern California harmonies" to "fuzz-drenched frenzy" - with a very special one-time-only two shows in one night event December 11 at New York City'sManhattan Center.
BoH's very own NYC marathon will begin with a 7:00pm special acoustic performance in the intimate confines of the Manhattan Center's Grand Ballroom, after which the band will move to the building's considerably larger Hammerstein Ballroom for a full-on electric set, with support provided by special guest Jason Lytle.

The NYC doubleheader is the latest in an ongoing frenzy of activity in the wake of the September 18 release of Mirage Rock (Brown/Columbia). Recent BoH highlights have included an appearance at the Global Citizen Festival in New York’s Central Park that concluded in an all star jam featuring the band alongside Neil Young, Foo Fighters, Black Keys and more, while upcoming events include a November UK/Europe tour, and the recently announced U.S. headline dates running from December 3 at the Michigan Theater in Ann Arbor MI through December 15 at The National in Richmond VA.
