Apollo Run and New Cassettes Announce Co-Headline Fall Tour

“Talented and ambitious bands know how to tie together a work, to make it cohesive, consistent and worth repeating. Here Be Dragons, Vol. III accomplishes that, and for that Apollo Run should be championed.” - Absolute Punk

“If you like Arctic Monkeys or the Vaccines, check out New Cassettes.” - AOL Spinner

Apollo Run are partnering up with New Cassettes for a co-headlining Fall tour that kicks off in San Francisco on November 1 and will take them along the West Coast hitting Los Angeles, San Diego, Portland and Seattle before heading east to Denver, Chicago and Columbus with more dates to be added.

Apollo Run released their debut full-length, Here Be Dragons, Vol III at the end of September and partnered with Artist Direct to premiere album opener, "Bending the Light." The track still holds the Top Song spot as the 'Most Listened To Song' on the site for the free download. The Brooklyn trio are showcasing with multiple performances at CMJ 2012 Music Marathon next week and their new “Animal Farm” inspired video for “The Inevitable Small Rebellions” has been making the rounds online to My Old Kentucky Blog, Baeble Music and The Deli since it premiered at CMJ.com.  MOKB noted, “’The Inevitable Small Rebellions’ is thick with harmonies and emotional ups and downs (the cast’s so big, I gave up trying to count). As seems to be the case with everything this Brooklyn-based trio does, the video for the song is artsy as all get-out.”

New Cassettes is a five-piece band from Northampton, England who delivers a fresh blast of modern rock that is artful, edgy and infectious. They released Winterhead in April 2012 on N13 Records in partnership with MTV and received accolades from AOL Spinner, PureVolume, Filter, RCRD LBL and many more.  Since touring with We Were Promised Jetpacks earlier this year, the band has perform on Daytime TV, Last.fm and Yahoo! Music.  Popmatters praises, "Winterhead is user-friendly, hook-driven, guitar rock" and industry tastemaker Nic Harcourt praises, "Propulsive, catchy beat-driven dance pop that sits nicely alongside bands like Bloc Party and The Futureheads… their music makes me happy!"

Artist Direct recently premiered the video for "Bite Your Lip," the second single off of Winterhead.  The video was shot in a warehouse in Austin, TX while the band was there for SXSW.  The track is gaining traction at radio with numerous spins on KROQ in LA, adds at KRXP, KEQX, WRLR, WHSN and AOL Radio, and live performances and adds at WBOS (Boston) and Music Choice. New Cassettes are currently on the road with White Arrows & Family of the Year and wrap that run in Utah on October 17.
