Earnest and winsome just like the title suggests, Santah unveils a new trailer in anticipation of their forthcoming EP, You're Still A Lover. A veritable meet and greet with the band, the "You're Still A Lover" trailer, grants us entree into the world of all things Santah.
Directed by their very own, Tommy Trafton (piano/organ/synths), the teaser chronicles everything from life on the road to recording, as seen through eyes of this Chicago based quintet. Images of city skylines and freak folk art boroughs intermix with time spent laying down tracks at Chrome Attic and Pieholden Studios, all to the soundtrack of "Teeth." Another stellar number off the You're Still A Lover EP, "Teeth" is a bone-crushing love song that swells with lush strings and aching lyrics.
The teaser trailer premiered today via IMPOSE Magazine, who called the video, "a proper introduction, nicknames, screen test and all." The band recently partnered with Chicago's Saki Records to release the 12" of You're Still A Lover as part of the store's newly launched in-house label.
Available October 16th, the EP can be pre-ordered here. Santah are currently touring with Savoir Adore and Royal Canoe before they embark on New York for CMJ.
