New Videos from the Mountain Goats & M. Ward!

The Mountain Goats and M. Ward released new videos this week.

The video for The Mountain Goats' "Cry for Judas" was directed by Carlo Mirabella-Davis and shot last month in upstate New York. Mirabella-Davis wrote and directed the short film Knife Point, and co-directed and produced the feature documentary The Swell Season. Described in the Pitchfork TV premiere as an "emotional rollercoaster," the video stars Peter Hughes as a troubled dad, features a quick Jon Wurster sighting, and an unhappy end for John Darnielle. The Mountain Goats band kicked off the first leg of their U.S. tour in support of the recently released Transcendental Youth this week, and have already sold out all four of their New York shows next week.

Premiered by Team Coco, the video tells the story of a young popstar tortured by his evil manager played by Amy Sedaris & a cameo by Conan O'Brien! M. Ward will appear at the Austin City Limits Festival this weekend and has a few dates still to come this year in support of A Wasteland Companion.
