In support of their newly released, debut self-titled album out today on Hot Congress / Old Flame Records, Trans-continental indie-rock super-group Distant Correspondent (featuring members of Goes Cube, Meanwhile Back in Communist Russia and more) have premiered the video for new song, "Shatter" (also released as a 7" single via Static Caravan Records in the UK), exclusively at The Big Takeover Magazine's website, BigTakeover.com.
To coincide with the release of their new album, the band is gearing up to head out on their first full tour of the US, beginning tomorrow night, and will feature the addition of guest vocalist Margaret Darling of The Seedy Seeds. The upcoming string of dates will bring the band throughout the extent of the Midwest and over to the East Coast for the first time, and include appearances along the way withDinowalrus, The Unawares, Kirin J Callinan and more (full itinerary below).
