PRIMATE Confirm East Coast Tour Dates With High On Fire

Ruthless grindcore faction PRIMATE have been confirmed to support High on Fire on their newly announced North American tour later this Fall. Bringing their raging brew of old-school hardcore-influenced speed-grind disorder to the masses, PRIMATE will be infiltrating the lineup on seven East Coast dates of the massive tour alongside Goatwhore and LoPan.

PRIMATE East Coast Tour Dates w/ High On Fire, Goatwhore, LoPan:
11/23/2012 Rock and Roll Hotel - Washington, DC
11/24/2012 The Sinclair - Cambridge, MA
11/26/2012 Opera House - Toronto, ON
11/27/2012 La Tulipe - Montreal, QC
11/28/2012 Port City Music Hall - Portland, ME
11/29/2012 Union Transfer - Philadelphia, PA
11/30/2012 Bowery Ballroom - New York, NY
12/01/2012 Music Hall of Williamsburg - Brooklyn, NY

Containing henchmen Kevin Sharp, Dave Whitworth, Shayne Huff, Bill Kelliher and Mike Brennan, the Atlanta-based quintet unify their individual talents reminiscent of their other primary acts in PRIMATE, but take it back to the early days of punk and hardcore when unharnessed energy and devastating speed was the only way to live. Relapse Records officially issued the band’s debut album Draw Back A Stump in July, following the extremely limited self-released CD version last year. Relapse’s re-release bears three additional tracks not found on the initial version, the entire platter fully remixed and remastered with updated artwork and unleashed on CD, LP and digital delivery.

Stream Draw Back A Stump in its entirety at PRIMATE'S BANDCAMP PAGE.

"...an album that could line up well on the skate ramp boombox along with Minor Threat, Government Issue and Millions Of Dead Cops... If you like punk and grind, this album is pretty much mandatory. Did you really expect something involving members of both Brutal Truth and Mastodon to suck?" - Decibel

"...it's just so simple, unpretentious and bludgeoning, it's almost hard to believe a band this straightforward manages to still sound pretty fresh. 9/10" - Metal Storm

"...these veteran players deliver a scorching new effort, chock full of blazing punk-rock-flavored, d-beat-induced grindcore that is fresh and exciting while giving nod to the glory days." - Blow The Scene

"...a hardcore record that is distinctly traditional, while still making occasional nods at all manner of more recent advancements... 4/5" - Heavy Blog Is Heavy
