Securing the support slot for Agent Orange's latest North American outing, which begins October 1, 2014, THE ARCHITECTS will unleash their signature swagger on 23 unsuspecting cities throughout the tour. The Architects/Agent Orange pairing with hit major markets along the way, rolling through Chicago, New York, Philly and Washington DC before routing back towards The Midwest from the Eastern Seaboard. Hot on the tail of their September 9, 2014 release of the second installment of their epic, multimedia platform BORDER WARS, the band will introduce Episode II to an eager fan base during their first tour following the release. Those dates can be found below.
The culmination of nearly two years of blood and sweat-sodden labor, Episode II was composed while consuming tens of thousands of cigarettes and thousands of midnight hours to bring fans the biggest, coolest experience possible. Planned as an episodic five part series, Border Wars is told through a collection of comic book stories illustrated by Mallory Dorn and soundtracked through the accompanying CD by The Architects.

Cheap Trick-influenced and conceptualized in the spirits of The Who, Peter Gabriel-era Genesis, My Chemical Romance, The Architects have shift their focus from making albums to creating storylines. Border Wars tells the story of Tom and Josie, two kids from a tiny town in southwestern Texas. Their backgrounds could not be more different. Tom is the only son of a wealthy televangelist minister. Josie is a runaway, currently employed by meth cooker. Their paths weave and interact with the city’s corrupt sheriff and his reality show, an ex-cartel boss on death row, hookers, scumbags, mob lawyers, crooked senators and a pair of wise morticians, culminating into a blood-soaked denouement.
Following the split of The Gadjits in 2004, the band has pushed forward, balancing a punk mentality with a solid, blue-collar work ethic. With four well-received full lengths under their belt (2004's Keys to the Building , 2006's Revenge, 2008's Vice and 2009's The Hard Way), the band is no stranger to release day.
The Architects are Brandon Phillips (Vocals, Guitar), Zach Phillips (Bass Guitar), Adam Phillips (Drums) and Keenan Nichols (Guitars). Border Wars: Episode II will be released digitally September 9, 2014 on Exodus Entertainment. The band will join Agent Orange on the road throughout the month of October.
