RCRD LBL is currently premiering the Houses remix
of Chicago-based Young Man’s “Fate” at http://bit.ly/LdqEMi.
The original version of the track is featured on Young Man’s Vol. 1,
out now viaFrenchkiss Records. The album has received critical praise
with Esquire hailing frontman Colin Caulfield as a
“dorm-room-pop whiz kid” while Filter notes that “Caulfield
continues to showcase some seriously well-crafted shifts between proggy
meandering movements and pop hooks.” Rolling Stone recently
premiered the video for “Fate” at http://bit.ly/JYnmwL.
Produced by John McEntire (Broken Social
Scene, Tortoise, Stereolab, The Sea & Cake), the new record is the second
part of an album trilogy begun with 2011’s Ideas of Distance.
Please see below for the complete Vol. 1 track list.
