Grass Widow are currently on the road touring in
support of their new self-released record,Internal Logic. In the
spirit of their top-to-bottom DIY aesthetic, they've self-produced a video for
the lead single, "Goldilocks Zone," which premiered today
on Pitchfork TV. Much like the video's statue-dwelling interstellar
explorers, you can stumble upon the band playing shows across the country, with
stops in DC, Toronto's NXNE, and NYC's Northside Festival, to name a few,
before returning to their home planet of San Francisco for a show on June 22nd
and an official record release show on July 20th.

PRAISE FOR GRASS WIDOW
"The San Francisco trio's strength lies in the very
thing that makes them so beguiling - the vocals - and tightening what goes on
around them helps make Internal Logic a wholly charming
album" - NYLON
"The songs on Internal Logic are like
triple-exposed photographs, their nebulous, hazy qualities occasionally belying
the acute skill with which they've been composed. It feels fortunate that Grass
Widow arrived on the scene a few years too late to be lumped in with the mid-aughts
post-punk revival, because they've honed an approach that feels more personal
and self-contained than it does trendy." - Pitchfork
"a strong nuanced collection of songs that are among
some of the best the group has ever released" - Black Book
"Internal Logic pits fractious churn and
friction against head-spinning harmonies, and here's the surprise, everybody
wins." - BLURT
"three distinctly feminine voices speed through each
song like a pack of race cars rounding the final laps, the steady hum of their
progress creating a soothing yet urgent undertone." -BUST
"an exhibition of the dramatic power of restraint...the
punkish propulsion of the album is implied more frequently than it is stated
directly, with the rhythms snapping into place while those three voices diffuse
overhead." - FILTER
