"Anyone expecting agitprop mallpunk or ironic cowpunk covers may be surprised by the shimmery pop sound of (Des Ark), which creates a dynamic, often dense sound out of a minimum of instruments." - Pitchfork

NAILS Confirms October West Coast US Tour Supporting Godflesh
UK Tour With Blind To Faith To Follow In November

NAILS will take their combative anthems back to the streets again in the coming months with several new tours and shows confirmed.

First up, the band will return to the annual This Is Hardcore in Philadelphia, the massive fest boasting four days of bands, with NAILS performing alongside All Out War, Ringworm, Judge, World War 4 and countless others on Saturday, August 10th. Upon their return to California the band has locked down a pair of shows in Lancaster, California at the end of August.

NAILS have also recently confirmed that they have been invited to support industrial/metal pioneers Godflesh on four West Coast dates of the UK legends’ American tour this Fall, the package also featuring experimentalist act Prurient. NAILS will assault the crowds attending these special Godflesh appearances in Seattle, Portland, Oakland and Los Angeles as the tour makes its way south in late October.

Just two weeks later, the American tyrants will invade the UK for the first time in three years for a string of dates across the country on the Campaign For Elimination UK Tour. With shows locked down in Glasgow, Manchester, Bristol and London, NAILS will be supplied with backup from Belgian nihilists Blind To Faith on the venture.

"[Kurt] Ballou helped harness and focus the brutality of their hardcore death-grind sound in the 10 face smashers that make up Abandon All Life." - Guitar World

"Nails have delivered one of the most savage and head-spinning albums of the year so far. 5K " - Kerrang

"No human being...could ever come up with the most hateful, bile-ridden, brain shattering 17 minutes you will hear this year, or this decade... 5/5, Album Of The Month " - Terrorizer

"Songs tear along at a horrific pace, panic inducing vocals scream out from the murk of the songs and the claustrophobic intensity is terrifying... It kills, eats and pisses on the remains of all other contenders. 9/10" - Metal Hammer

"...the California quartet slingshots between surging drone, blistering grindcore, battering black metal, and stubborn D-Beat... Here, they are brutal, intricate and, to put it plainly, frightening." - Pitchfork

"Brooks and Kavanaugh wisely decide to focus on catchiness above all else, which pays huge dividends. These are monster hooks that are designed to invade brains and stay inside for a long time." -- Pop Matters

"Singer Emily Kavanaugh sounds quite like Kylie Minogue, and she definitely has that same kind of breathy-but-edgy sex appeal in her delivery. All these tracks are carnally charged paeans to lustful encounters in the dark corners of the club, where all the best action happens." -- Frontiers L.A.

Bleached are gearing up for summer tour dates and in honor of their new dates, the band is proud to share their new music video for "Dead In Your Head". The song is from their debut album, Ride Your Heart, which was released via Dead Oceans. Scroll down to view all of their tour dates.

LA sisters, Jennifer and Jessie Clavin match their ability to blend a mix of  freewheeling '77 punk with vintage sunny Southern California melodic rock and roll; creating blindingly bright hooks and dark heartfelt lyrics about love, loss, and the crazy fun moments in between. That's the goal: the sugary and sour, repurposed by two aggressively harmonic musicians and songwriters.

Raised up deep in the San Fernando Valley, their suburban isolation nurtured the girls creativity, as they started making their own music at a young age. Sneaking into punk shows over the hill in Hollywood, they grew up to become teenaged underground staples at all-ages Downtown DIY venue, The Smell.  Eventually signing to Kill Rock Stars and Post Present Medium, their all-girl punk band Mika Miko drew international acclaim, landing slots on tours with No Age, Black Lips, and The Gossip.
Bleached originally formed when the Clavin sisters resolved to continue working with each other upon the break up of Mika Miko. Plans were postponed when the sisters joined other bands. Jennifer relocated to New York and toured extensively. With Jennifer away, Jessie began to play with various bands in LA. But in the fleeting moments they found together back home, the songs that became Bleached's early 7" singles came together. Since Jennifer moved back to her hometown, Bleached now serves as both girls' chief creative outlet.
As a whole, the twelve tracks on Ride Your Heart reveal the many facets of Bleached's music in a delirious vortex of playful harmonies, tangled guitars, and golden noise. Each song brings a new element, while also imbibing the classic moods of bands as varied and iconic in nature as The Ramones and The Cars to The Rolling Stones and Fleetwood Mac. From the syncopated backbeat and two-part chorus of "Dead In Your Head,", the rolling riffs and sparkling melodies of "Searching Through The Past" and the pulsating energy and urgency of "Dreaming Without You" and "Outta My Mind", Bleached take you on a sweeping emotional roller coaster that churns and burns. Ride Your Heart is a thrilling, beating, glorious wall of sound strong enough to withstand its own impact.

"Some people say we play the horn too loud -- some say we have the wrong sound -- but when we get together, there's one thing we can always count on: we'll go DANCING OUT."

Today French Horn Rebellion share their newest release, the Dancing Out EP features legendary R&B pioneer and GRAMMY winner Jody Watley and Canada's Young Empires. Billboard Magazine premiered the band's music video for the latest single of a string of EPs HERE last week, and in the interview, they explain their collaboration with GRAMMY-award winning artist Jody Watley ""It's a combination of the new jack swing Jody used to do and 50s and 60s pop. There's a lot of rebel leather jacket influence, some Marlon Brando," Robert says. Billboard further reveals upcoming collaborations: After a series of recent singles with Viceroy, JD Samson of MEN and Le Tigre, French Horn Rebellion will release additional collaboration with fellow indie-poppers Ghost Beach, St. Lucia and HAERTS later this year. Those singles will then be compiled for an album that will released some time in early 2014.
"Dancing Out" is an homage to the awkward band kid in all of us. Sometimes, what we are most insecure about can be our greatest asset--turning up the French horn to 11 could win you the girl of your dreams. Come join in on the fun and listen to "Dancing Out" on Soundcloud. To coincide with the single, French Horn Rebellion also announces several live dates in the United States - The Dancing Out Tour.

COLUMBIA RECORDS SIGNS NINE INCH NAILS

New Studio Album Due Later in 2013

Columbia Records has signed Nine Inch Nails. The band will release a new studio album later this year.

"I've been less than honest about what I've really been up to lately," said Trent Reznor. "For the last year I've been secretly working non-stop with Atticus Ross and Alan Moulder on a new, full-length Nine Inch Nails record, which I am happy to say is finished and frankly fucking great.  This is the real impetus and motivation behind the decision to assemble a new band and tour again.  My forays into film, HTDA and other projects really stimulated me creatively and I decided to focus that energy on taking Nine Inch Nails to a new place.  Here we go!"

"We are thrilled at Columbia to work with a true renaissance artist like Trent Reznor on the return of Nine Inch Nails and an exciting new chapter of innovative music from them," commented Rob Stringer, Chairman of Columbia Records.

The band is performing at a number of festivals this summer, including Lollapalooza, Outside Lands, Leeds, Reading, Made In America and the Voodoo Festival.  The new Nine Inch Nails lineup - Alessandro Cortini, Josh Eustis, Robin Finck, Trent Reznor and Ilan Rubin - will debut on July 26 at the Fuji Rock Festival in Naeba, Japan. The show will mark Nine Inch Nails' first live performance in nearly four years.

Nine Inch Nails is considered a pioneer in the industrial music movement and has been highly influential in the evolution of electronic music. Its recordings - which include the RIAA Platinum-certified Pretty Hate Machine (1989), Broken (1992), The Downward Spiral (1994) and With Teeth (2005) - have revolutionized detailed digital production. The band has sold more than 30 million albums worldwide, released a remarkable series of singles, including the No. 1 Modern Rock radio hits "The Hand That Feeds," "Only," "Every Day Is Exactly the Same" and "Survivalism," and received two GRAMMY® awards. Building on Nine Inch Nails' long history of soundtrack work, Reznor, together with Atticus Ross, scored the David Fincher films The Social Network and The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, winning an Oscar, a Golden Globe and a GRAMMY in the process.
