Blood Into Wine arrives on DVD on Sept. 7 as well. The award-winning documentary focuses on Keenan and vineyard partner Eric Glomski’s struggle to create a high-quality wine region in the harsh terrain of Northern Arizona. Filmcritic.com dubbed the film a “rock ‘n roll version of Sideways,” the Wall Street Journal said “as Blood into Wine makes clear… Keenan isn't a musical celebrity who lent his name to a product. He gets down into the soil to plant and destem vines and pick grapes. He's learned oenology with painstaking deliberation” and the Village Voice said the film is “one of the most intriguing documentaries we’ve seen in a while.” The film co-stars Milla Jovovich, Patton Oswalt, Bob Odenkirk, Tim Heidecker and Eric Wareheim.

RECOIL

NEW TOUR DATES ANNOUNCED FOR FALL 2010
‘A STRANGE HOUR’ COMES TO NORTH & SOUTH AMERICA
iPHONE APP NOW AVAILABLE

After successful performances across Europe and the US, Alan Wilder, formerly of Depeche Mode and now recording as Recoil, will bring ‘A Strange Hour’ to select cities across the US, Canada, and South America. Alan & Paul Kendall are working on an updated set for the tour, so stay tuned to www.selected.recoil.co.uk for further news.

For fans to get the most up-to-date news and info, a new Recoil iPhone App is now available. The Recoil app allows you to follow Alan’s activities and fans’ thoughts & musings while Recoil is on the road or in the studio. As a hub for Recoil’s social networking, there is also access to photos, videos, audio and Alan’s concepts behind each of his albums. The app is free and available now from the iTunes store HERE.

Recoil Selected, a brand new selection of classic Recoil tracks, is out now. Alan Wilder, who chose the track listing, explains, "The collection is made up of my personal favorites, remastered and edited together into what I consider a cohesive and total listening experience.” The album features a varied selection of vocalists including Diamanda Galás, Joe Richardson, Douglas McCarthy (Nitzer Ebb), Nicole Blackman, Samantha Coerbell, Toni Halliday (Curve) and Maggie Estep. Recoil Selected is available to download and as 1CD and 2CD editions. Limited edition deluxe 4-disc box set and a vinyl edition have both now sold out.

With his attention to detail, Wilder pushed the boundaries even within the restrictive climate of commercial pop. As an antidote to the demands of the Mode, his studio project Recoil was born in the mid-eighties. Two albums were released: ‘Hydrology’ (1988) and ‘Bloodline’ (1990) both giving an indication of his expanding horizons. After his departure from Depeche Mode in 1995, Wilder resurrected Recoil full-time and has since released ‘Unsound Methods’ (1997), ‘Liquid’ (2000) and ‘subHuman’ (2007).

HEARTSREVOLUTION

PARTNERS WITH SWAROVSKI TO BUILD THE FIRST CRYSTALLIZED TOURING ICE CREAM TRUCK!
UPDATES ON DEBUT FULL LENGTH AND NEW WEBSITE LAUNCH

Heartsrevolution, the digital-punk duo from NYC, have partnered with the sparkling couture staple Swarovski Elements to completely bedazzle their infamous Heartschallenger ice-cream truck to make it the world's first and only completely crystallized touring vehicle. The trucks operate as a nexus of their self-empowered infrastructure by selling treats outside of shows and music festivals. The duo is determined to continue with their DIY approach while inspiring the 21st century generation to think outside of the box.

The band has launched a new website at www.heartsrevolution.com where you can follow them on their journey of making the album and creating music videos for each track or download the Heartschallenger theme song as a ringtone. In addition, they have created an online widget where users invited to join the Heartschallenger Army. Through this widget, fans can upload a photo to create their own Heartschallenger ID card with the trademark Heartschallenger ski mask.

Born of a punk ethos the band has self released records and self funded tours all via the Heartschallenger ice-cream trucks. Heartsrevolution's breakout EP, Switchblade, boasted their own unique brand of electronic neo-punk dance music and included the anthemic "C.Y.O.A. (Choose Your Own Adventure)", the acronym serving as the mantra that has shaped their career-arc thus far. The group formed in 2005 when Lo asked Ben to compose a soundtrack for the first Heartschallenger. After the release of the Switchblade EP, the group rode a wave of early critical acclaim.

After much work, touring and time in the studio, Heartsrevolution plan to release their debut full length album, Ride or Die, this fall!

VELVET CODE Relocates To London

UK Debut Performance Set for 28 July at Forty Watt Club

New York, NY - When Marlon Wurmitzer, the mastermind behind the critically-acclaimed electronic-synth pop band Velvet Code, packed up his apartment in New York City and decided to jump over the pond to London, England, he didn't think his move to the UK would have been as creatively stimulating as it has been. Just a few months into his new transatlantic residency, Marlon has already put together his new band and even scheduled his debut performance for 28 July at The Forty Watt Club (150 Brick Lane, London). Tickets for the show can be ordered in advance here: http://tinyurl.com/vcode-tix.

Velvet Code's debut release Black.Blue.Blind. was met with critical acclaim and garnered great supporting slots for bands like Mindless Self Indulgence and Nitzer Ebb, among many others. UK's Sphere Magazine opines, "There are not many bands nowadays that can balance rock hard instrumentation with uplifting electro-pop melodies and a punk attitude like Velvet Code." Alternavox chimes in "Velvet Code is more than just a band, it’s a feeling, an energy wrapped up in an electro synth-rock candy wrapper. A perfect blend of retro beats with the relevance of today and the tenacity of tomorrow."

Winner of the "Dance/Electronica - Song" at The 8th Annual Independent Music Awards for the song "Say You Love Me", Velvet Code started out in NYC in 2005 when Marlon moved out of his native Toronto and decided to start a band. Working with legendary producer Mark Saunders (Shiny Toy Guns, Erasure, The Cure), they crafted the synth-infused pop album Black.Blue.Blind. "Mark is the 'golden ears' and 'king' of mixing synth music," says Marlon of the experience. "I couldn’t have chosen a better producer to work with on this album." Fueled by a great understanding of pop melodicism and a well-tuned ear for electronic pyrotechnics, is packed with tracks like the bombastic opener, "Say You Love Me", the immediately infectious "I'll Follow You", and atmospheric and shimmery ballad "I Never Want to Feel." As Marlon explains of the sound of his music, "Think Pink who wants to look like Lady GaGa but wants to dance with Freddie Mercury and run with The Killers."

Velvet Code is currently working on new music with Swedish hitmaker Peter Boström (A-teens, DaBuzz, Alcazar).

SCISSOR SISTERS

WILL KICK OFF NORTH AMERICAN TOUR ON AUGUST 21st

Sammy Jo, Scissor Sisters' Tour DJ, Will Open;
Tickets Go On Sale This Weekend

Night Work, The Band's New Album,
Rockets To #1 On iTunes' Top Pop Albums Chart Upon Release

Scissor Sisters will launch an extensive North American tour in support of their latest album, Night Work, which was hailed as "dirty fun" by The New York Times and included on Spin.com's list of "25 Summer Albums That Matter Most." Upon its release last week, Night Work rocketed to the top of iTunes' Top Pop Albums chart and into the Top 10 of iTunes' Top Albums chart.

The tour will commence on August 21st at Atlanta's Buckhead Theatre and include a show at Terminal 5 (August 24th) in the band's hometown of New York City and a night at Los Angeles' historic Hollywood Palladium (September 11th). The jaunt will conclude on September 16th in Vancouver, BC at the Malkin Bowl in Stanley Park. Scissor Sisters are once again bringing along renowned DJ Sammy Jo to kick off the festivities. Tickets will go on sale beginning this Friday, July 9th; see below for details. To purchase tickets, please visit www.scissorsisters.com.

Scissor Sisters are in the midst of a worldwide tour, which has included stops at the Glastonbury Festival, where they were joined by special guest Kylie Minogue, and the iTunes Festival in London. The band will play festivals in Europe, Australia and Japan prior to kicking off the tour's North American leg. Scissor Sisters will also play a series of U.K. dates in December. See below for North American and U.K. itineraries.

"As anyone who's seen it will attest, their live act is a ride," said London's Sunday Times, which praised Night Work as "a naughty new album that's a tour de force." "This is the album that really symbolizes what they sound like live," friend and collaborator Elton John recently told The New York Times while Filter called it "a dance album filled to the brim that could make even a corpse twitch"

"'Night Work' makes no apologies...this here is the year's most striking reinvention," observed NME while Rolling Stone said: "Three albums in, the Sisters are as gleefully hedonistic as ever." "New York's disco-new wave party people are in freak mode on their third disc Night Work, dropping crass come-ons and slutty entendres like parade confetti (gay, straight, you name it)," said Entertainment Weekly, which gave the record an A-.Q awarded the album four stars in a two-page lead review, observing: "they translate anxiety into dancefloor electricity."

"It is, in a word - stunning,"said accesshollywood.comof lead single, "Fire With Fire," while the New York Post said the song "channels the band's inner disco ball with amped-up bass lines and a hedonistic spirit." Philip Andelman (Lenny Kravitz, Beyoncé, John Mayer) lensed the accompanying video.

With over seven million albums sold worldwide, Scissor Sisters have been described as "one of the most improbable and endearing success stories of recent years" by Rolling Stone. The band - comprising Jake Shears, Ana Matronic (vocals), Babydaddy (guitar/bass/keyboards) and Del Marquis (guitar) - released its self-titled debut album in 2004. It became the best-selling album in the UK that year and earned the band three BRIT awards in 2005. Stateside, Scissor Sisters performed on "Saturday Night Live" and enjoyed success at pop radio with "Take Your Mama," which was licensed by numerous TV shows. Ta-Dah, released in 2006, debuted at No. 1 on the UK album chart while lead track "I Don't Feel Like Dancin'" simultaneously topped the UK singles chart.

IN GHOST COLOURS IS OUT NOW ON MODULAR RECORDINGS

At a time where the marriage between dance and rock is neighboring inevitable, Cut Copy walk the line as pioneers of the new sound movement. Their 2008 sophomore set, In Ghost Colours, delivered both timelessness and forward thinking, haunted with machines of the past and sounds of the future. It was embraced by both audiences and critics worldwide, landing at the #1 position in their native Australia, receiving almost unanimous global praise and a spot on many key “Best Albums of the Decade” roundups. The key songs off that record, including “Hearts On Fire,” “Lights and Music,” and “Feel The Love” were ubiquitous on the internet and as the soundtrack to the modern urban experience, and still are topping charts two years after its release.

In addition, the band sold out an endless string of shows across the globe, with their biggest markets constantly changing as the year went on. From Melbourne to Mexico City to Lisbon to Jakarta, they played to thousands of excited fans a night, bringing an irresistible multimedia party wherever they went.

The band are currently ensconced in their Melbourne studio working on the follow-up to In Ghost Colours, which should be wrapped shortly. Never ones content to stand still, it is as much a progression of sound as “In Ghost Colours” was from their debut “Bright Like Neon Love.” They will be doing key festivals across the globe this summer, and can’t wait to share their new music and old favorites with their fans.
