Our long silence has been due to the fact that we’ve been living in an abandoned church in the woods of upstate NY, recording our 3rd album. It’s almost finished; we can’t yet tell you exactly when it will be coming out—when it’s done it’s done. But it won’t be long. The album is being co-produced by Sam and John ‘Rodeo’ Hill; John’s previous work includes the Santogold album and a wide variety of artists including the Maccabees, Amazing Baby, and Shakira.
In the meantime, we are taking the studio on the road for several weeks to tour Canada and part of the States with Green Day. We’re very happy to be playing live again—it’s been 8 months since our last show(!)—and particularly excited to play Canada, as we have yet to do a proper tour there. Michael Zakarin will be absent from the first few shows of the tour, as he is enjoying his honeymoon in Europe. I hearty Mazel Tov! to Michael and his new bride. Until his return our friend Bryce Martin has been nice enough to fill in on guitar.
See you soon-
The Bravery
