Canadian dark new age trio Doomsquad will release their debut album 'Kalaboogie' onFebruary 25 via Hand Drawn Dracula (CAN/USA) & No Pain In Pop (UK/EU).
Today the group shares the down-tempo industrial track "Disremember/Dismemberment." Stream the song over at Noisey.
The group has a number of upcoming winter/spring tour dates, including an appearance at this year's Valley of the Vapors music festival in Hot Springs, Arkansas. Full tour dates listed below, more dates TBA.
Bio:
Dark new agers Doomsquad re-code the electronic music narrative with a more worldly and cosmological presence than the genre would normally dictate. Their songs are rich in variance and full of vividness, spanning across their entire debut LP 'Kalaboogie' (out February 25). Drawing in guitar, flute, percussion and synth, the Montreal and Toronto-based siblings Allie, Jaclyn and Trevor Blumas act as aural anthropologists, teaming relics of cross cultural traditions like chanting and repetition over seismic ripples of deep bass. Doomsquad's mixing of influences leaves you feeling awakened.
