PATRICK WOLF SIGNS TO NYLON RECORDS

ANNOUNCES US RELEASE OF THE BACHELOR AND SUMMER TOUR. SECOND SIGNING TO NYLON RECORDS WILL RELEASE THE BACHELOR ON CD AUGUST 11th, DIGITAL JUNE 2nd. HEADLINING THE NYLON SUMMER MUSIC TOUR IN JUNE WITH THE PLASTISCINES AND LIVING THINGS

Patrick Wolf, the UK-based multi-instrumentalist known for his masterfully orchestrated and emotive songs will release his fourth studio album The Bachelor this summer on NYLON Records. Patrick is the second signing to NYLON Records, the latest music extension for the influential magazine and brand that already publishes an annual Music Issue as well as a month-long summer music tour.

Editor-in-chief Marvin Scott Jarrett says on the signing: "We are absolutely psyched to welcome Patrick Wolf to NYLON Records! As an artist, he completely represents the creative, cutting edge spirit of what NYLON is about. Music has always been an intrinsic part of the our DNA, but now with the launch of the label and the second NYLON Summer Tour on the way, it's at the absolute forefront of everything we do."

The Bachelor's release on NYLON Records will be released August 11th on CD, following its digital release June 2nd via iTunes. To bring his new opus to the masses, Patrick will headline the second annual NYLON Summer Music Tour this June alongside The Plastiscines and Living Things. Further details to be announced soon.

More info on The Bachelor:
Originally intended as a double-album, The Bachelor began its creation immediately following his tour for 2007's critically acclaimed The Magic Position. Exploring his own doubts on ideas of love and marriage, Patrick found inspiration in experimentation with bleak electronic and industrial sounds, as well as finding solace in some of the classics of his teenage years like The Pixies and The Raincoats. Capturing Patrick's outlook in life at that time, The Bachelor narrates a story of pessimism regarding love to be concluded with a forthcoming sequel album. Always expanding on his repertoire of different musical genres, Patrick's command of baroque pop is taken to a new level with the addition of large choral and string sections, and collaborators such as Alec Empire, Tilda Swinton, Eliza Carthy, and Matthew Herbert.

Press on 2007's The Magic Position:

"There's nothing remotely not awesome about him." - ROLLING STONE

"His pop romps seem like children's dreams -- all colors, twinkles, and buzzes." -- SPIN

"Impeccable pop songcraft." - PITCHFORK

"His happiest and grandest pop work." - MAGNET

JEFFREE STAR TO RELEASE FULL LENGTH DEBUT BEAUTY KILLER THIS SUMMER

FIRST SINGLE, "PRISONER" DEBUTS ON MYSPACE & FOR SALE AT iTUNES. CONFIRMED FOR FIRST HALF OF WARPED TOUR FOLLOWED BY A HEADLINING TOUR

Hollywood, CA: JEFFREE STAR is set to unleash his debut album, BEAUTY KILLER, late this summer. The first single, "Prisoner," debuted on MySpace on Friday and received almost 500,000 plays over the weekend. "Prisoner" now available on iTunes here. JEFFREE STAR is confirmed for the first half of this summer's Vans Warped Tour and will follow that up with a national headlining tour in support of BEAUTY KILLER.

JEFFREE STAR is currently putting the finishing touches on BEAUTY KILLER in Los Angeles. He's working with a number of different producers including Lester Mendez (Shakira, Jessica Simpson, Nelly Furtado), Luke Walker (Alkaline Trio, Elliott Yamin) and 3OH!3's Nathaniel Motte. Confirmed guest vocalists include Alkaline Trio's Matt Skiba, Nicki Minaj (Lil' Wayne's Young Money Entertainment) and Danger Radio.

What started as an obsession with music has now become JEFFREE STAR's reality. Three years ago, Jeffree was quickly gaining recognition for his make up artistry and modeling. People became obsessed with him and an online phenomenon was born. Jeffree always likes experimenting. He would write down some crazy verses, have a friend make a beat and toss rough songs up on MySpace to get a reaction. And that was how it started. Jeffree has always had a passion for music. He's dreamed of being a performer. He's come a very long way in the last three years and is now ready for the world to hear what he's been working on. BEAUTY KILLER will be out this summer on Jeffree's own label, Popsicle Records through Warner Music Group's Independent Label Group.

"I can't wait for you all to hear BEAUTY KILLER - I'm really proud of it. I think even people who "HATE JEFFREE STAR!!" will secretly listen to enjoy "Prisoner" and wish they didn't like a Jstar track. Is the industry ready to take me seriously? We will have to wait and see! "Prisoner" is just the beginning! All the love and all the hate has motivated me so much and I can't wait to start playing all these new songs on tour over the summer." - JEFFREE STAR

G.G. Allin limited edition bobblehead

Set it on your coffee table and watch as pop culture implodes.

About the GG Allin Bobblehead:
Aggronautix has just released limited-edition figures of GG Allin "1991" (2000 numbered) and Tesco Vee of the Meatmen (1000 numbered). Each "Throbblehead" figure stands at 7 inches tall, is made of a lightweight polyresin, and will be displayed in a tri-windowed box.

"We normally don't carry bobbleheads but I was floored that the folks at Aggronautix would attempt this project," said Dov Kelemer CEO of DKE Toys. "I figured that if I broke down and made an exception to actually put this (anti-)bobblehead in my collection that others would feel the same. GG Allin... WTF!?!?!?!"

The idea first surfaced two years ago when Aggronautix pitched the GG figure idea to Merle Allin, GG's brother.

"I had been thinking about doing a GG figure for a while, so when the guys came to me with the idea, I was into it," said Allin. "The proofing process took a long time, but we got it right. The doll looks really good and I'm happy with it."
